I've got a choice between this and the Samford Pony Trail Dirt Dogs ride. And since I'll have my young impressionable son with me who I'd rather not have scarred for life from having to view bits of you I'd rather he didn't see, I'm thinkin' the Pony Trail might win out for me.

Plus, as the hair is ripped from your body, you're likely to utter the odd rude word, and I can't have him learning stuff like that! (although he HAS ridden in the past with Bbanger, so I'm sure he's already heard every swear word ever invented!! Plus a few that haven't been invented!)

A big thank you to all that have donated or pledged to for this little event. Special thanks must got to the folks who showed up this morning to rip some hair off and watch me squirm. I will get the final tallies up as soon as all the money comes in from people who have pledged from outside the site. all up there is now well over $1100 raised just by this one event. I've said it before but, I am not surprised by the level of generosity from the MTB community as I ride with them every day but I am humbled by it and appreciate it greatly.

Just a little personal thanks to Steve and Leanne as well. They have been integral to the behind the scenes stuff that goes on not only to do with the race but the fund raising and training. It would take a massive post to list all the things so I'll just say "THANKS!" I'm sure you know how much I appreciate it.

I still don't know why women do this to themselves........

Wingy also did the wax job on Mad Aussie but no tears then.

A good morning even though Wingy scored a flat, then a holed spare, then a pinched tube then a good tube from JusCruisin, all okay.

Only mechanical, I broke a spoke.

Time to go throw some money at the Royal Childrens Hospital.
