Chris I rode up the hideaway mountain trail on a SS the other day, hope you don't mind the walk or happy to met you at the bushland corridor entry on Parkview.

Last night we had quite a bit of rain and a constant drizzle throughout the night so I'm making the decision to postpone this ride until first light (5:30am) on the 20th March. Hopefully this doesn't put anyone off who committed and we see your happy dials the following week.

Winner- looking at Good Friday to repeat some serious dirt distance.

It is all good. Been there done that - and when I get lucky, others will walk also and provide some company.

At this point, next week is looking ok for me. Good thing it is a Saturday.

Rode into Daisy last night via Ford Rd carpark - turned around before we touched any singletrack - the fireroad was wet enough to tell us Daisy should be off limits at the moment - probably for a few days at least I would guess.

cheers mate, will take it into consideration and make a call later in the week. It could be a case of altering the route slightly to stick to the slatey gravelly tracks as I don't want to go anywhere near that gunky muck in Daisy Hill until it dry. Might have to head for OHV at this rate.

Here's the forcast for the next 3 days:

Thursday Shower or two.
Friday Shower or two.
Saturday Few showers.

If this is correct, I would think it should be mostly ok. I'd say at this stage the ride is on unless a torriental downpour ruins it.

I thought I'd have a go again in the Summer Cup on Sunday morning in B-grade. Apologies.

Mate the conditions in Daisy are PEEEEEERRRRRRFECT but unfortunaltely, i am not so perfect as I have a cold also....

I just got back from a ride in there and i'm coughing up a lung after 25km. I am going to ride tomorrow at my own pace VERY SLOWLY for about 10km instead.
