I still need to post my pictures up from 7 Mile. Fan-farking-tastic riding.

Guy's I have been living in Queenstown for 6 months and can't sing it praises enough for trails . The Downhill tracks are just amazing with 3 quality ones with good shuttle access the pick would have to be Snowpark and remarkables , both rough, Snowpark with bigger gaps and drop offs XC trails are good too from 5 hours rides to smashing up 7mile ( kinda gap creekish but better) The shops in town are great, bikes are well specced , and prices are good Eg giant DH1 with full face helmet, knee /shin guards for $110 a day .... Queenstown should be one everyones place to go list if you ride a bike (any bike )

OH and nobody cares if you ride a heap of junk ,a hardtail or dh bike its just about the riding .

Beer's good too aye

awesome I've allowed a little more time in Queenstown on our honeymoon to take advantage of the trails around there. I'm particularly interested in the XC trails. Wonder if they are still doable early june.

it's dosn't really snow too often in town and is mostly dry due to the mountains taking all the rain and the standard of trail building so in june will be ok for riding but a little cold . There is a 90k race on june 5th .. It's a bit of a gravel road mission but the senery is pretty cool.

"BUMP"

Looking at heading to Rotorua in March and as it will be only me was considering the "Have fun tours" that i see advertised on here, has anyone done any of their 8 day tours? also was going to take my own bike which is a specialized epic comp and was wondering if it would be suitable over there due to being a xc bike, any help would be appreciated thanks.
