Same here RE- the change of scenery but if it's raining we're definitely there. (unless of course we destroy the precious trails) are they gravel in those parts or squishy mud/ clay ?

If so we could always just do Southboundary Moon Walk

I am bailing. Too cold and wet for my liking, and Gap ck is a pain in the *ss on a rigid ss in the wet.

Pfft soft. Says he sipping his soy chai latte at the Life style cafe at Samford. We're not going alone otherwise we wouldn't have anybody to flick mud at. Maybe see some of you on the SMSF ?

This is good beer and cycling video weather. I've got a 5 litre keg of Bitburger and a TV if anyone has some good videos.

All you slackers out there you need to HTFU.Thbpbpthpt

The trails were firm with only the odd puddle on some corners. The logs were a bit slippery so some caution was required at times and the only track that was soft at all was rocket frog and this was only a little greasy on the surface in some areas.

Darb and myself enjoyed a circuit including most of the single track except Dingo. Darb claims the blood loss award with an off on a log drop on Whipbird Way and another off on the wooden berm on Pipeline. He also can claim the mechanical award for a chain slipping whenever he was in the middle chain ring.

Thanks for the ride guys. Oh i mean Gazman because all the other slackers piked out. Anyway i had a ball, even though i hit the ground a couple of times. My first proper ride around there and what a great place to ride. we will have to do it more often. Lots of good flowing trails and plenty of technical stuff.

It didnt rain at all and it was a great temperature for riding

I plan to do something in the afternoon but I would prefer to go cruisy for about 30k's. Some hills but not too many, that sort of thing. Maybe Bellbird and back (if I can remember the way) followed by a few Bunya trails to make up the distance. Getting too old to power up endless hills.
