Sounds great and that weekend looks open! Please, please! Run the track in the anti-clockwise direction - I can't imagine those pinches after 4-6hrs!

I decided not to enter the Karringal XC Rd 3 this year based on the direction of track.

If this event sees a return to the usual anticlockwise direction, I'll be there with bells on.

EDIT: hold that thought. I've just looked at the roster and I'm on call all weekend. Bugger!

OK, so I'll be there if a colleague agrees to a swap.....

If it's the same direction as the chase ride, I don't see the issue - since when is it supposed to be easy? I bombed on the third lap but this is my fitness, not the course.

You guys need to stop riding Daisy so much! Wink

More information in the top post and will keep adding to it over the next few weeks as the event details crystallise.

The Enduro will be run anti-clockwise direction with slight modifications to the 2009 route to ensure some good sections of fire-trail for feed and recovery. Don't worry though -- there will be plenty of famous Karingal single track for all to enjoy!

The social category will be perfect for riders who don't want to wrestle for the podium but want to set their own challenges and have a fantastic time riding the track with friends and still be in the mix for some great prizes. Thanks to major sponsor "For The Riders" and co-sponsors Endura Sports Nutrition, Lifestyle Health Clubs and 5 Star Coaching we will have plenty of giveaways and random prizes to give away.

The competitive categories for teams includes a Teen Team option to encourage the younger riders to find a mate and team up. The handicapping system should make it interesting!

Online entries will be open soon. Hope to get at least 300 riders!

Hey Darryl, you don't need to ride out there every weekend to train.

A couple of practice sessions would be useful to allow you to get a feel for the course, but that would be enough. If you want some more advice regarding training, send me a PM. Geoff

If you are 13 y.o. on race day then team is the only option. You could ride with a partner up to 24 y.o. and still sneak in under the 38 y.o. cap. Or find another youngster and get a mammoth headstart!!

Trying to encourage U19 riders to get together as teams. Also not likely to be many riders in an U19 solo male category. Best find a team Ahock and then you can rest between laps and go hard when you're out there.

Time, site fees, effort of paid services (e.g. Ambos, race/lap timing), bunting equip and supplies, insurance.

There will be much more than this too.
