Does it get any better-bale from work, hit the forest with m8s and head to the coast

just a thread starter- does it get any better

last friday- hacked off with work and saw a break in our rainy weather. bunked work for the arvo and headed north out of the rat race.

grabbed the mtb and bolted to the forest where we know a few tracks. blitz ride out to the coast. no phones- no cars- no haggle just at peace with nature and our bikes.

just sensational. so good went back saturday and looking like bolting again tomorrow - if the rain stays away

what is your best bale from - hit nature work thread ?

I'm afraid I live in the forest and get to bale whenever I like....I just need to be healthy enough is my problemwith all the kiddie germs around. The irony is that work is the easier option. Send us some photos so we can see what you've been doing, as long as you don't incriminate yourself of course Smile

will get pix next time - if i can wrestle the camera off the kids! and remember to check the batteries

work is over rated when the sun is shining

Brilliant post! I'm skiving off from work this arvo to go bashing about the bush. It's a great feeling knowing you're out when most people are chained to the proverbial grindstone.

Does it get any better-bale from work, hit the forest with m8s and head to the coast

I live 200m from Bunya, my work base is my home, and my job takes me all over S.E. Qld. So i get to choose what trail I will ride that afternoon when i plan my day in the morning. Last week i got a guided tour around the local Gladstone trails by Grounhog, then the next day I was riding my bike through the lush canefields of Bundaberg. This afternoon I will probably hit Daisy. I reckon I have it better than most here.

Best bail story...

Get ***s with clients at 11am on a Friday... pick up girl and bikes at 12pm... at the cabins at OHV by 2pm.. 2 beers down by 215pm.. then nothing but singletrack, bad food and fun for 2 days..

Awesome post icon_biggrin

Great minds must think alike coz I knocked off at lunch time today and smashed some hills around Clear Mountain.

Ky, a couple of days in the cabins at OHV sounds a bit hard to take!

Great bail story Ky.

And I love the photo. Is that all one shot or a few photoshoped together. If its Ps its a great job. I cant see any joins at all. I've never been out to OHV but that photo has sold me.
