Large Hardtail frame

Hi everyone.

Looking for the following Frame:

Large Hardtail disc brake (20 - 22 inch)

Intergrated Head set (to suit DJ 2's 3.5 inch travel)

Prefer BB square tapered crank

Seat post preffered but not essential

Normal scratches etc OK

Please check your shed

And finally, as cheap as possible (yeah, I know but I'm building a bike for my nephew)

You want single speed or gears?

This is a single speed cro mo XC frame for 26" wheels and usually a 100mm fork.

This photo is a year or two old, the frame is still in good nick. Mostly used for commuting and only a few marks on it.

It comes with an Orbit headset but the crown race is not the original matching part. It doesn't come with the cranks or the seatpost clamp as they are currently fitted to other bikes, but maybe they could added back in for the right price.

I also have a brand new square taper BB which I can resell at cost, but no spare matching cranks.

Price on the frame is negotiable.

Hey Ozynigma, If Numbnuts isn't interested in this frame I may be for a SS upgrade I want to do, cant put a disc on the rear of my old frame, let me know how it goes. I am also on a budget.

Numbnuts, this is a single speed specific frame which is why I asked SS or geared. So I don't think it will suit your needs. It doesn't have gear cable holders or a derailleur hanger for gears.

Beev, if you are interested come and have a look and make an offer. The frame, forks, headset and cranks cost me $800 second hand a couple of years ago as a guide.

Asking price, if I end up listing this for sale elsewhere, would be in the low hundreds depending on what extras get thrown in with the frame.

Ozynigma, I am interested in your frame but as I said I am a strict budget with school fees and all. What would you want for the frame alone and maybe the bottom bracket? PM me if you like
