Hey great shots Derek and goo dto see you today! Our runs down Black Rock were not quite so spectacular today! I popped my Mt Joyce cherry today and I was hooked! A pity Bovine Groove was closed as I hear that is a sweet trail, but we still had an awesome day.

Yeah MJ is a great place to ride. was very diffcult being there without a bike. Was a blast watching the boys play up for the cameras though. Which made the walk back out well worth it. Also makes me feel soft for the line I take thru the jumps.

There's some mighty nice pics in there Derek. It must have been nice watching the downhill boys do their thing. Were their lines similar to ours?

Thanks Michael

Heres a video form the day put together by Mitch. Who handed over his 2 day old Go Pro Hero2 to a complete stranger on a mountain bike so he could get some footage. Then sweated big time when we didnt see him pass again. ( He buggered his knee( But worked out pretty good for a spontaneous day.

Yeah Craig they took exactly the same tracks as we do as in started at the top and finished at the bottom. Oh wait we start half way down. And they cheat by being in the air half the time.

Was pretty cool watching them hit the rock gardens, well FLY over them without blinking. Oh to have the skill and Kahunas and the travel and the ...............................................................

Great shots, nice work.

How tough are the trails? Watching the footage I couldn't help but think "hey I could probably ride most of that" but of course I realize that often video makes things look a lot easier than they actually are.

Any plans on heading out to MJ again in the not to distant future? Wouldn't mind coming along, for both the riding and photography, if you guys don't mind an extra. Smile

Sounds like a great plan, but unfortunatley I'll be at Mt Buller next week, hehehehehehe. Would be keen when I get back though, maybe 10/11 March??

We were a bit nervous about Seargents, and rightly so, but it turned out to be awesome fun. Quite tricky but awesome fun. I think we rode it 3 times in a row the first time we hit it up.

You be able to take photo's of real amatuers pretending to be downhill boys!

It's not that bad if you ride from the bottom of the logs down. There are a few tricky bits. I'm real keemn to go back out there.
