Hi Everyone

So wan to invest in a my first proper MTB. But not sure where to start to look.

I have seen the Polygon bikes an dread a few reviews and seem ok. Problem is can read about them all you want but cannot seem to try one first.

But just want a quick shout if anyone has one and what they think about them.

Not racing or anything just want to have some decent equipment .

I look forward to your replies.

Thanks in advance

Actually, you can try one. Polygon have a free trail period. Just read the terms on their website.

I've had 2 of them flat bar road bike which I still have and a hardtail I sold, after sales service is rubbish, I would stay well away from a dual suspension from them.

If you want to go online retailer go for a Canyon or YT assuming you want a dual suspension.

What sort of suspension travel and budget are you looking for?

Thanks for the reply

I was thinking no more than $2500

I am really looking for full/dual suspension.

Not getting any younger so anything to ease the aches and pains.

Having the same trouble myself, I would get something with 140mm or more travel as they pedal fairly well up hill but are more forgiving on old bones than say a 120mm XC bike.

Have a look at Canyon good spec for the price looks like they might be getting ready for the new models and have a few sizes left. My partner rides a Canyon and is very happy with it.
