The ride to Spring Mountain is really hard now because the Council took a bull dozer through there, the entire track is now one great big sand pit.The place is called White Rock Conservation Park - Its about 4 km from my front door.

Quote:NoWay Ray I've just read through the last few pages, it is possible to ride mostly off road from Parkinson through Goodna and join back up to Redbank plains road. I've done a fair bit of riding from Carole Park to the Parkinson end, and know most of the tracks around Goodna/Collingwood Park/Redbank Plains. It does tend to get quite sandy though, which saps the legs more than hills on the road. Let me know if you want more details on where the tracks go.
Yeah I know my way around the section from Beaudesert Rd to Carole Park. Just trying to do past Goodna all off-road. On-road is easy.Sand was fun, good change from dirt bike paths...dorifto.I could meet you or anyone else this Sunday arvo. Will be a 4 hour return trip.

All this friggan commuting talk has made want to suddenly ride to work now! Its only a 15min drive so its only a few k's. Just have to do a timed run on the weekend and see how much earlier I have to get up. Now to toughen up for the cool mornings. (making excused already.)

Was a fresh one this morning, might be time to make myself some arm warmers on the Singer again...was nice to feel the warmth from the sun.Ads, you should try surfing in winter... even with a full length steamer you still get cold extremities - ears, feet, hands nose and your whole head feels like a tub of ice cream.
